What to study in Prague

There are several options from which you can choose what to study in Prague. For  example, you can go for a summer vocation programme, you can choose a full degree  programme and for that you need to finish a preparatory course in Prague. Have a look at the options below and then search for your  desired type of education.

Degree programme  First of all for being inrolled into any degree course you will need to recognize your latest educational diploma ( school, college) and finish a preparatory half a year or 1 year course. After cooping with these tasks and passing entrance exams you will become a student and can get bachelor or master degree. There are different degree programs available in Prague (e.g. Arts, Business, Engineering, Health, etc), full list of programs covers about 80 different fields.

MBA programs  Different Prague universities offer Master of Business Administration course.Usually all Prague universities offer this course in Czech and English laguages.  Besides universities, you can study MBA programmes at other educational  institutions too.

Language courses  Would you like to study in the Czech language? By law, higher  education at public and state institutions is free of charge for  citizens of all nationalities, however private institutions of higher  education can fix their own fees. Higher education at public and state institutions is free of charge for you if you study in Czech! It is a really good reason for studying the Czech language, isn't it?

Summer and winter vocations  Take advantage of summer schools offered by Prague Study Center. During summer and winter there are language, IT,medicine, filming, drawing courses available.

Living costs in the Czech Republic are considered to be affordable.  The average living costs of students range from 350 to 750 USD per  month, including meals, accommodation, public transport and culture. Of  course, prices may vary according to your location, accommodation  choices, lifestyle, and spending habits.

FACULTIES and Specializations

After you finish the preparatory course you can choose any of the 26 public and 41 private universities in Prague. There are more than 1000 accredicated study programs in English. Czech diplomas are world-wide recognized, one of the most famouse universities-Charles university places 4th as per EECA ranking.

By getting students visas one gets official right to work part-time ( 20 hours per week), while studies students can join different programs after which they can get residence permit and permanent residency as Czech university graduates.
